I Heal People.

It wasn’t always like that. I spent 21 years as a high level financial executive in a multibillion dollar healthcare conglomerate. I sat in their boardroom figuring out strategies to improve the bottom line. I didn’t always agree with the plan and protested at times but helped execute it nonetheless. Finally, frustrated with corporate life I took a leap of faith and left that arena to come to Nashville and pursue a songwriting career. Songwriting never quite panned out to my satisfaction, but along the way something better did.

About two weeks before Christmas 2003, while standing in line at a book store, I overheard the sales clerk telling another customer about a troublesome illness. She had been to a number of medical doctors and alternative healers but no one could help her.

Suddenly I heard a distinctive voice in my head say "Ron, you can heal this woman." Startled, I looked around and saw no one else in the store but the woman and her customer. Then I heard it again "Ron, you can heal this woman." Not sure what to make of all this I paid for my books and went home. But the voice wouldn’t go away. It was in my head before going to sleep that night and again the next morning.

Hoping for guidance, I called a highly spiritual woman who led a group meditation class I attended. After one of the sessions she had approached me and said that I had special abilities which would soon manifest.

When I asked if she thought I could heal this woman she said, "Certainly. Just call and get her permission."

So I called the woman. She asked where she would have to go and what I would do to her. Somehow I knew intuitively to tell her that she wouldn’t have to go anywhere and I would do the healing remotely while in a meditation. She said "why not?"

I excitedly went to my bed and laid down in the yoga pose "Shavasana" (corpse pose). Not knowing exactly how this would unfold I prayed for assistance and began meditating. Soon my body started tingling. This vibration kept increasing until I started feeling absolutely euphoric from the flow. Next affirmations such as "I am a healer" raced through my head and finally I had a vision of the outline of a human form with a rainbow of colors swirling around it.

This experience lasted several minutes. Then the colors stopped swirling, the affirmations ceased and the vision faded away. Consciously I had only been an observer, watching and listening. But the feeling was so powerful and euphoric that I continued to lay there, eyes still closed, for another half hour.

As exciting as this all had been I kept procrastinating on a follow up phone call. What if nothing had happened? But a few weeks later I got confirmation from a different source.

A songwriter friend of mine found a lump in her breast and hadn’t seen a doctor because she didn’t have health insurance. The lump was growing larger so she needed to get the insurance now. Knowing insurance wouldn’t pay for a preexisting condition she was going to wait a couple of months and say it just happened. Horrified by her plan I offered to try a healing on her if she promised to see a doctor immediately. She agreed.

When I went into meditation this time I felt the same vibrational shift and euphoria as before, but didn’t hear any affirmations. I had a vision of the outline of her form but the colors around it were still. Then I saw a darkness in the area where her right breast would be. I intuitively visualized the dark area breaking up into a million pieces of dust and being swept away. Amazingly the dark area gradually disappeared. I knew there was more work to do because the colors around her image had not changed.

Not sure how to proceed I prayed for assistance and immediately the colors started swirling. When they stopped the vision faded away.

Several days later she saw her doctor who couldn’t understand what the big emergency was all about. He couldn’t find a lump in her breast. There was a tiny red mark on her breast and he mused that "she must have been bitten by a spider." When she called with the good news I was thrilled. I had a confirmation.

Several months later I ran into the woman from the bookstore and found out that her condition had improved dramatically.

I’ve learned and progressed since those early healings and have helped countless people with a variety of health related problems. I’ve discovered that I can heal with my hands and that new techniques have and will be given to me when the time is appropriate.

I’ve also discovered that I can’t heal everyone. When someone asks for healing, I am able to determine intuitively whether or not help can be given.

I can also determine whether a "hands on" or remote healing would be more beneficial. When a positive indication is received the success rate is extremely high. With a negative response sometimes additional guidance is provided. It may be that the person requesting help should continue seeing his physician, see a new physician or see another type of practitioner.

I’ve come full circle in the healthcare industry starting with summer jobs at a hospital, later moving to a huge healthcare conglomerate that had a finger in virtually every aspect of the industry, and to finally healing people without health insurance or a means to pay for traditional care.

I believe most alternative and medical healers benefit society but that no single discipline has the correct solution for every situation.

I am an ordained minister with the Universal Brotherhood Movement and have also helped many people through difficult emotional periods, generally with a combination of hands on healing and counseling.
